Ballet Folklorico Azatlan was founded in January 2001 through the help of Teresita Ortiz, and is sponsored by the Hispanic Leadership of St. Martha's Catholic Church in West Covina, California. The Folklorico is a non-profit youth organization dedicated to preserving the authenticity of Mexican cultural dances.
